Numerically computed with high accuracy are periodic traveling waves at the free surface of a two dimensional, infinitely deep, and constant vorticity flow an incompressible inviscid fluid, under gravity, without effects tension. Of particular interest is angle fluid almost extreme wave makes horizontal. found are: (i) boundary layer where rises sharply from $0^\circ$ crest to local maximum, which converges $30.3787\dots^\circ$ as amplitude increases toward that wave, independently vorticity, (ii) outer region descends trough for negative while it greater than $30^\circ$, then falls large positive (iii) transition oscillates about resembling Gibbs phenomenon. Numerical evidence suggests frequency oscillations become independent profile approaches form.
